FEATURED COLLECTION: small purchase, big change
Simon Needham's latest art collection is a vibrant celebration of majestic creatures, blending outward beauty with a deeper, poignant narrative. Beneath the surface, the series hints at the tragedy and urgency surrounding the plight of endangered animals. This collection is more than art—it’s a call to action, raising awareness for these vulnerable species. The works incorporate a rich mix of materials, including hand-painted acrylic, 18KT gold accents, wool-adorned celebratory horns, diamond-cut glass, and archival-printed canvas, all elegantly framed with custom plexiglass.
Simon’s journey begins in his hometown of Los Angeles and takes him to sanctuaries across South Africa, where he photographs these magnificent animals, capturing their essence in ways that transcend the lens. Witnessing their challenges firsthand, he channels this experience into his art, creating pieces that not only inspire but advocate for conservation.
Recognizing the urgency to protect these creatures for future generations, Simon donates 50% of all profits directly to conservation charities in desperate need of support. His work is a powerful blend of art and advocacy, reminding us of the beauty we must fight to preserve.
SMALL PURCHASE, BIG CHANGE
Orphan’s Club Uganda
ORPHAN’S CLUB UGANDA
Orphan’s Club in Tororo, Uganda, stands as an essential cultural nucleus for 150 children who have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. In a context where infrastructure falters and basic resources are far from assured, expression becomes architecture—drama, poetry, and song function as both pedagogy and lifeline. The Club restores agency through education, communal care, and the simple yet radical act of being seen. Here, ambition is rekindled not through sentimentality but through access: uniforms, materials, tuition, and the scaffolding required to imagine a future beyond subsistence.
This photographic collection is the visual record of that ignition—an intimate collaboration rather than an external gaze. The images dismantle the narrative of deficit so often imposed on this region, offering instead a lexicon of presence, wit, and undeniable vitality. Each limited-edition print is an artifact of encounter, a testament to what joy looks like when it refuses erasure. To acquire one is to participate in that momentum: seventy-five percent of profits directly fund Orphan’s Club’s essential work, from clean water to the completion of their school.

SERIES III: ONE HEART WORLDWIDE — Photographed in Dho, Nepal
One of the most remote inhabited settlements on earth—this series centers on the students of Crystal Mountain School. The portraits document education pursued at the limits of accessibility, where attending school is not routine but deliberate effort. The images acknowledge a community that persists, and the distance that must be crossed to learn.

ABOUT SIMON NEEDHAM
What began for Simon Needham as an aesthetic pursuit led to an awakening of artistic creation. With a grounded understanding of how audiences engage and disengage, he uses his practice to draw attention where it might otherwise falter. A business background may have built the foundation, but observation and a growing sense of responsibility shaped the work.
His collaborations with organizations such as One Heart Worldwide, GG Conservation, Development Media International, California Wildlife Center, Care for Wild, and Fundación Natura Bolivia reflect a commitment to more than documentation. Half of all proceeds from his fine art support these groups directly, turning aesthetic appreciation into tangible impact. Beauty alone is insufficient; the images insist on participation. The work asks not for applause, but for agency—reminding us that preservation, in any form, is a collective act.
