Simon Needham hasn’t always been a photographer, but from a young age a life in the creative world was what he sought. At 18, he founded the award winning global agency ATTIK with James Sommerville, a friend from college. Since then, Simon has been insatiable in his need to create. At ATTIK, he worked as Co-Owner and Chief Creative Officer, creating campaigns for hundreds of brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Lexus and Toyota. Soon after the agency picked up momentum, Simon began directing, working on network promos, music videos and commercials. It was then that he found a calling in photography.

Simon was lucky enough to start traveling the world soon after. He offered his photography skills to Humanitarian efforts around the world. Projects took him to Bolivia, Himalayas, Tanzania, Nepal, Peru and South Africa, amongst other places. In each country, Simon experienced lives and cultures he only ever dreamed of. And he realized that his conservation efforts couldn’t stop there. What these NGO’s really needed was to be seen. Having racked up thousands of photos, Simon started creating pieces for public consumption, allowing him to pursue both his passion for photography and conservation. Each piece he creates comes from a campaign he shot for an NGO, with a substantial portion of the proceeds going back to the organization. Simon has seen first hand the work that needs to be done to help the world. This isn’t his first step in helping but it is his most important.
